The United Workers Party 415 is a Medical Action Committee and super PAC representing the people of San Francisco who trade their time for money — the wage earners who keep this city alive. We are nurses, drivers, teachers, tradespeople, service workers, and everyone in between.
We act as a bridge between a traditional two-party system, offering a genuine third option for those who feel left behind by both sides of the aisle. Our views align with progressives on social matters, and our spiritual outlook is inclusive and non-judgmental — we are spiritual, not religious, and we welcome all.
Our common ground is simple: if you trade your time for something of value, you are one of us.

SAN FRANCISCO

"Your boundaries are a reflection of your self-worth."

Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal of the 1930s proved that government could be a force for working people — not just for the wealthy and well-connected. Through the WPA, the CCC, Social Security, and labor protections, FDR built a coalition of wage earners that reshaped American democracy.
UWP415 carries that spirit into the 21st century. Just as the New Deal met the crises of its era with bold, people-first policy, we meet today's crises — housing, corruption, wage stagnation — with the same conviction: that working people deserve a government that works for them.
And just as Rosie the Riveter became the face of women's power and suffragette determination during that era, we honor every person — regardless of gender — who shows up, rolls up their sleeves, and gets the job done.
"The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little."
— FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT, 2ND INAUGURAL ADDRESS, 1937
San Francisco has long been a city of contradictions — immense wealth alongside rampant mismanagement of public funds. We demand forensic audits of city contracts, independent oversight of elected officials, and real consequences for corruption.
The people who make San Francisco run — the nurses, the drivers, the cooks — cannot afford to live here. We support aggressive housing policy that prioritizes wage earners over speculators.
A living wage is not a luxury — it is the baseline of human dignity. We stand with workers in every industry to ensure that trading your time for money actually sustains a life worth living.
From city hall to Sacramento, the people of California deserve representatives who work for them — not for donors, not for developers, not for themselves. We are building a political home for those who have lost faith in both parties.
IF YOU TRADE YOUR TIME FOR MONEY OR SOMETHING OF VALUE —
YOU ARE ONE OF US. WE WELCOME YOU.
— UNITED WORKERS PARTY 415
Pre-COVID San Francisco was a city of neighborhoods, of community, of people who looked out for one another. That spirit has not died — it has gone underground, waiting for a political home that reflects it.
UWP415 is that home. We are building a community of wage earners who are tired of being ignored, tired of the corruption, and ready to organize for a city that works for everyone who works in it.
Many of our members are also tired of all the fraud and thievery in California — and more importantly, in San Francisco. We believe accountability starts at the local level, and that is where we begin.
A WORD ON CORRUPTION
The misuse of public funds and the betrayal of public trust are not partisan issues — they are moral ones. UWP415 will name names, track records, and hold officials accountable regardless of party affiliation.
SPIRITUAL, NOT RELIGIOUS
Our party's spiritual outlook is inclusive and non-judgmental. We honor the inner life of every person without imposing doctrine. We do not discriminate based on faith, belief, or practice.

ZIA ISAAC
FOUNDER · CEO · HOUSE SPEAKER
Zia Isaac is a San Francisco wage earner who grew tired of watching the city she loves be hollowed out by corruption, mismanagement, and a political system that serves everyone except the people who actually keep the city running.
As Founder, CEO, and House Speaker of United Workers Party 415, Zia brings the perspective of someone who has lived the reality that UWP415 fights for — someone who trades their time for something of value, and who believes that every person who does the same deserves honest representation.
Photographed here in front of San Francisco City Hall, Zia embodies the party's spirit: rooted in the streets of SF, eyes on a better future, and unafraid to stand at the doors of power and demand accountability.
"If you can relate, we welcome you to join our party and look forward to meeting you in the future."
— ZIA ISAAC, FOUNDER OF UWP415

Jim McInnis brings decades of civic engagement from San Diego to the UWP415 coalition. A firm believer that the two-party system has failed working Americans, Jim supports UWP415's push for a genuine third path rooted in accountability and wage-earner solidarity.
Jane & John Richmond
Richmond, CA
Jane and John Richmond represent the working families at the heart of UWP415's mission. Tired of watching their community's needs go unaddressed by career politicians, they stand with the party as a testament that ordinary people — wage earners — can and must have a seat at the table.
Allen Gibson
Chicago, Illinois
Allen Gibson's background in federal finance and his experience with the U.S. Treasury and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago gives UWP415 a unique window into the monetary and fiscal systems that shape everyday life for wage earners. His support underscores the party's commitment to economic literacy and financial accountability.
Dr. Barry Broomberg
San Francisco Bay Area
As a physician, Dr. Barry Broomberg understands firsthand the pressures facing healthcare workers and patients alike in a system stretched thin.
